Product Chemical Management
REACH
REACH (the Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) the European Union chemical control policy enters into force on June 1, 2007. The enterprise has to bear the responsibility of chemical management in its product for ensuring human body health and environmental protection. The Article, Substance and Mixture has to register to European Union Chemistry Head office (ECHA) base on the regulation of REACH, otherwise, products, substances and Mixture couldn’t be sell in the European Union market. MSI will focus on chemical management continually to reduce the impact to environment as well as compliance with the regulation by our product.

The Article 7.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006:
- The total weight of substances contained of Article above 1 ton which imported to European Union every year.
- The substance will be release under normal and reasonable use.

The Article 7.2 of Regulation (EC) No1907/2006:
- The total weight of substance contained as well as the authorization in ANNEX XIV of Article which above 1 ton imported to European Union every year.
- The substance contained of articles in a concentration above 0.1% (w/w).
The manufacturer or importer has to register to European Union Chemistry Head office (ECHA) for those requirements above.
REACH Directive-The responsible for transfer the information of SVHC.
The Article 33 of REACH, the manufacturer has the obligation to provide sufficient information to the consumer/recipient of Substances of article.
The manufacturer has the obligation for safety use to provide sufficient information to the consumer/recipient of the article if Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) conform to the standard of Article 57 and the regulation of Article 59 (1) are contained in its products in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w).

The Article 33.2 of Regulation (EC) No1907/2006:
- The manufacturer has the obligation for safety use to provide sufficient information to the consumer/recipient of the article if Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) conform to the standard of Article 57 and the regulation of Article 59 (1) are contained in its products in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w). Those information as above are free and reply within 45 days
- Carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction (CMR)
- Persistent Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent, very Bioaccumulative (vPvB)
- Proven to be seriously harmful to the human body or to the environment, and the hazardous level is the same as those of the previous stated substances. e.g. Endocrine Disrupters
MSI will focus on the subject continually and conduct SVHC inventory accounting via supplier chain. And some measure be take and discuss the possibility of substitute with supplier if necessary.
The below mentioned SVHC may be contained in the listed articles in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight.
